Stay Creatively Authentic in Women Owned Businesses



Hey Curlies and all,✨️

I would like to thank you all for continously supporting NDP and tuning in to my blog posts. This has definitely been an unique and creative journey which leads me to this week's Blog post: Stay Creatively Authentic in Women Owned Businesses. 





As a woman a she/her, Queen, Goddess, and everything of beautiful nature...I understand women are STRONG, Resilient, and a complex force. As a female business owner I hold many crowns. 👑  I am a promoter for my business. I advertise with new marketing strategies I create and research. I'm the photographer, model, host, product demonstrator, and everything else I can be for NDP.✨️

My message is to stay creatively authentic when having a small business. I enjoy how unique and versatile some women owned businesses are. They usually have a post or page on how they are not like the rest. This is vital when attracting clients for your business. Clients want to know to about you and a good way to show that is through marketing. Here some tips I have to be help you be a creatively authentic business:

1- Create a safespace for your business. This is a place you can cut up, let your hair down, and be yourself. Some of these safespaces can be a podcast, livestream party, or messaging group. These options will help you connect with people that want to support you and your business.

2- Continue to promote versatile content. Ditch riding the wave when you are the wave 🌊. The right people will gravitate to your content. Screw trying to fit in with trend content. It will take some trial and error to convey your message but your target audience will come. Tiktok is well known for capturing your authenticity.

3- Try to show your audience your passion. You have your business but you can show what you do outside of the business. What you do outside the business can merge with what you do for business. Be strategic! For example you may have a hobby to embroider shirts and hats. You may use that hobby to create merch for your business. Never be afraid to show different sides of yourself you never know how your audience can relate to or support you.

  Hey Curlies,✨ I hope you all had a productive week. This week is very steady for me and challenging with ongoing demands. This week's blog post I wanted to talk about technology and mental health. I know there are so many articles about how bad technology is for your mental health. I want to talk about the good and bad. Since my Facebook account was hacked in 2023 I have had less Facebook friends. It has also been nearly impossible to keep track of old clients. This has left a little hardship on me as a business owner and my personal life. The good I have noticed is I have lessen some of my death scrolling and internet use.
