Find Your Center: Self Acceptance

Hey Curlies,✨

We finally have made it to the last month of 2024. This year has been an eventful and learning journey. I had spent a lot of time adventuring in small pop up shops during the beginning of the year. Currently I am learning life is not perfect and it's ok to want better. Better is not a bad thing, but you must know not everyone will accept the better version you are seeking. I am still learning about people, events, social media, engagements, and how to become a better businesswoman. When I started Natural Divinity Products I thought I lived in a world full of mutual exchanges and "yes" people. Well I was wrong. Some people would not cross promote with me. I learned potential clients may not seek out to you. You will have to do it yourself! Being an entrepreneur is realizing you can do it scared and alone. I am understanding I must be in a elevated state to manifest my success for my business. Everything I experience in life I am still learning and trying. Even when I felt like giving up I remember the people who are inspired by my tenacity and grace. This goes into this week's blog post, Find Your Center: Self Acceptance.

Find Your Center: Self Acceptance. I did not want to write reach your center because some people may not be able to locate it during their first try. We all go through hectic times that are full of uncertainty and confusion. It can feel like madness and no where is safe. Finding your center is your safe space that core center of you that you must learn to call home. You must allow yourself to cry, laugh, and smile in your centered state. In order to find your centered state you must be free from all distractions. You must allow your mind to roam in order to find peace. Focus on your breathing patterns and close your eyes to avoid seeing distractions. Once you have done this you are in your centered state.

Self Acceptance:
"You are fine the way you are and will be what you become" - Lisa Pettway
We find ourselves sometimes displaying face or masking. Our lives contain many layers as a business person, worker, college student, mother, father, caretaker, and so much more. When you find your centered state you understand that is your safe space to be who you are. I have three tips you can practice for self acceptance.

Let Your Inner Weird Flow:

You may like to do things differently from others. You may even wear your hair differently from everyone else. When you are comfortable in a closed or open space let your inner weird flow! This can mean singing your favorite song when you were younger, laughing hysterically until you laugh for real, doing silly smiles in the mirror, working on a 12,000 piece puzzle, twerking while cooking your favorite meal, and more. Now is the time to celebrate you, weirdly enough you have that as a birth right. Over the years I have learned vulnerability is your superpower. Don't be afraid to celebrate your uniqueness.

Confront your Shadows:

The great thing about self acceptance is that you accept the good and bad. Ideally you learn there is no good or bad just learning curves. Your shadow can be your intrusive thoughts and inner emotions. It's the side not too many see. Sometimes confronting your shadow self can mean reflecting on your inner emotions and how they shape your reality. Your shadow self allows you to focus negative traits and suppressed positive qualities. Shadow meditation is recommended for facing uncomfortable feelings. If have thoughts of self-harm seek professional care from a therapist. All of these exercises help you grow as a person and strengthens your self acceptance.

We're All Learning to Love Ourselves

You have to know you'll be okay even when you're not okay. Allow yourself time to pass, fail, learn, and relearn. You're not a robot and you may not have all the answers but you are trying. Self Acceptance is a lifelong practice. Accepting who you are allows you to freely be yourself. You learn to desensitize yourself from the hypocrites. You only have one life to live and you must make a great impression for yourself. Make sure you take plenty of alone time to focus on you. Remember we are all trying to figure out this thing we call life. We are constantly learning how to accept ourselves without the judgement of others.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. Special thank you to everyone that has been a day one viewers. My blog viewers are growing in size please help increase the flow by sharing with likeminded individuals. I would love to hear from you! When did you first learn how to center yourself? When was the first time you shown self acceptance and enjoyed it.
